FGX International Names Richard W. Kornhauser Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer; Promotes Robert Grow to Executive Vice President of Product Development

February 5, 2008 – Smithfield, RI

FGX International (NASDAQ: FGXI), a leading designer and marketer of non-prescription reading glasses, sunglasses and costume jewelry, announced today that Richard W. Kornhauser has been elected Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Kornhauser was previously employed by Chattem, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to working at Chattem, Mr. Kornhauser held Marketing positions at Combe Incorporated and Del Laboratories, Inc. and worked at the Ted Bates Advertising Agency in New York City.

Mr. Kornhauser, who will relocate to Providence, RI, is a graduate of Columbia University. Mr. Kornhauser is married and has five children.

FGXI also announced that Robert Grow has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Product Development. Mr. Grow has worked for FGX International for 20 years, most recently as Vice President of Product Development. Mr. Taylor stated, “Bob has made significant contributions to FGXI in the areas of optical design and product sourcing. Bob has been a tireless leader whose group continues to deliver outstanding styles for all of our eyewear products.” Mr. Grow is a graduate of Boise State University and resides in Cumberland, RI with his wife. Mr. Grow has two children.
