FGX International was awarded with a Supplier of the Year Award by Rite Aid, one of the nation’s leading drugstore chains. The award was presented by Mary Sammons, Rite Aid’s Chairman, President and CEO to FGXI President Jack Flynn and Merchandise Manager Irene Freeman at a gala event in Baltimore, MD.
Rite Aid had the following statement when presenting the award to FGXI:
“FGX International, supplier of reading glasses, sunglasses and jewelry, has faithfully supported all Rite Aid’s efforts and plans over the years. Their commitment to excellence is evident in their account management, category and brand analysis, on-time and complete delivery performance, and an average 97% DSD service level. FGX is to be commended for its collaborative efforts with several other Rite Aid suppliers.”
FGX International CEO Alec Taylor stated, “We can all take tremendous pride in the receipt of this award, and as with all of our successes, it was a team effort.”
FGX International currently supplies sunglasses, reading glasses and jewelry to Rite Aid under the Foster Grant and Magnivision brands.
