Vice President - Sales
The Vice President of Sales - CMI is responsible for the growth of the Corinne McCormack business line within existing accounts and the development of new business within the distribution channel. This position will report directly to Corinne McCormack, President, but will work closely with contacts in the Corporate offices in Smithfield, RI.
Principal Activities/Objectives:
- Generate sales with new customers and increase sales with existing customers by developing relationships, assessing customer needs and making effective sales presentations
- Collaborate with Merchant Team to maintain existing customer base
- Attain the stated goals for revenue, profit and other performance evaluation metrics
- Provide accurate sales and budget forecasts
- Identify new product opportunities
- Recommend marketing tools and trade shows
- Assist in the development, refinement and implementation of the sales strategy
Nature and Scope:
The Vice President of Sales - CMI works with the Marketing, Merchandising, Finance and other departments to ensure that internal and external sales efforts are coordinated, consistent and in-line with corporate goals and objectives. He/She works effectively with and represents the company professionally to customers, business partners, consultants, and service providers.
Requirements:
Needs to be a self-motivated individual with a proven sales track record. A solid background in consumer products is essential. Specific consumer product experience with a premium brand in jewelry, sunglasses, or cosmetics is preferred, but not required.
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of sales experience. Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time. Position is based in mid-town New York, NY.
