Retail Operations Coordinator

Job Description

The Retail Operations Coordinator works closely with and supports the Retail Account Manager with a wide range of operational, administrative and customer service tasks relating to an assigned group of retail accounts. The Retail Operations Coordinator is responsible for creating and tracking product shipments, entering and maintaining account data, coordinating new store openings and assisting with all other projects and customer events. The Retail Operations Coordinator also fields many phones calls and work very closely with our Retail Field Service group, buying offices, stores managers and sales personnel in an effort to resolve all issues at store level. The Retail Operations Coordinator must be able to work with little supervision, meet strict deadlines and perform all assigned tasks in an accurate and complete manner. Having an excellent working knowledge of the company’s internal order/inventory processing system will be essential to accomplishing operational tasks such as order/item creation and maintenance, monitoring sales within accounts, purchasing displays and graphics, setting up new accounts, creating UPC tickets, and tracking orders. The Retail Operations Coordinator may also be asked to assist with sales analysis and the monitoring of credits and revenue generation within their accounts. 

 

Job Requirements

The Retail Operations Coordinator must possess excellent phone, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. They must be professional and have the ability to communicate effectively in person and via e-mail as well as on the phone. They must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Ideal candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook and have retail experience, customer service experience and a basic understanding of product distribution. 

 

Education Requirements

College education in Business, Management and 2 plus years of experience preferred but not required.
